Walking Holidays North Wales
In co-operation with Gwynedd Council, we are helping to develop a way-marked coastal path all around the Llŷn Peninsula. The very best of this route leads from Clynnog Fawr to Bardsey Island, now called the Edge of Wales Walk. This is Britain’s newest long distance path, much of it National Trust owned. 75% is along sandy beaches / cliff path, 15% is on moorland, 8% on quiet lanes and tracks and only 2% beside anything as urban as a B road.
This is your holiday - we will help you to create a walking plan to suit your requirements, time and ambition. We will provide you with detailed easy to follow maps, GPS kit and local information to guide you on your way.
We think it to be the most beautiful walk in Wales with spectacular views and abundant wildlife along an unspoilt coast. Many of the Pilgrim Stones, Churches and Wells remain and you will have a chance to explore the Tre'r Ceiri Iron Age fort, climb the peak at Yr Eifl, visit the Heritage Centre at Nant Gwrtheyrn and enjoy the hospitality of the Gegin Fawr, Aberdaron, where medieval Pilgrims could also claim their last meal before crossing to the Isle of the Saints, Bardsey.
