Guitar and Drum Tuition in Shepton Mallet

James has been playing guitar for over twenty years and has been running a
successful teaching practice since 2005, teaching both privately and in schools. He also ran the “rock group” at the Centre of Somerset Music Club for a time. As a professional musician he has toured across the UK as well as in Germany and Israel. James covers all styles from beginners to advanced and has enhanced disclosure. The Davidson brothers have a studio in Shepton Mallet where James teaches on Monday and Tuesday evenings. On Thursday and Friday evenings he teaches in the Glastonbury Music Shop. He currently plays with fusion band Celtech with brother Ed.

Ed has been playing drums for twenty years and also runs a successful teaching practice. He has also toured in the UK and Germany, as well as in France. Ed is able teach lessons either at your home or in the studio in Shepton Mallet. He is also able to cover all styles from beginner to advanced as well as rudiments and all other aspects of technique. Ed is also a skilled producer having recorded and produced Celtech’s debut album “Celtech”. He is able to teach recording, editing and production techniques using logic studio.

The Davidson Brothers are able to provide mentoring and support for young musicians in all aspects of the music business including composition, rehearsal, recording, promotion and performance. They are available for workshops at other venues such as schools with their mobile studio.
