What to Expect

Before the Driving Test:

As a learner, it can be nerve-racking taking to the road, even in with the security of dual controls. It does not help that often other road users seem to forget the challenges they faced as learner drivers. Before taking to the road, you should prepare yourself for:

* Tailgating: drivers ignoring the 2 or 4 second rule in all weathers
* Under/Overtaking: often illegally, and even when you are up to speed
* Impatience: especially at roundabouts and traffic lights

The actions of such drivers are not unique to you - every learner experiences them. By acknowledging their poor judgements, they are helping to make you a more alert, aware and ultimately safer driver!
