Pipers Glasgow
My piping career started in the mid seventies with Knightswood Juvenile Pipe Band and progressed to Babcock Renfrew for most of the eighties. In 1988 aged 25, I was honoured to accept the position of Pipe Major of the Grade one City Of Glasgow Pipes and Drums and held the position for eight years and in that time led the band into competitions, concerts and foreign trips with Glasgow City Council who were the band's sponsors.
In 1997 I was appointed Pipe Major of Dunoon Argyll Pipe Band and led them to many honours and their highest ever world ranking in Grade two.
