Almost all problem behaviour in dogs is the result of miscommunication and misunderstanding, regarding the important role of Pack Leader.
The leader is the decision maker, the one to be trusted and if a dog believes that this is his role - and it is surprisingly easy for him to come to this conclusion - problem behaviour is very likely to occur!
Problem behaviour can range from: pulling on the lead, jumping up at people, poor or no recall, excessive barking and general lack of cooperation, through to the more serious and soul-destroying: aggression towards people and other dogs (including owners and other pack members).
